Summer camp “Enjoy English”

As social and economic globalization continues, the importance of language skills in the workplace and in life continue to be highlighted by government education departments all over the world. Learning language as a child is easier than an adult. Joining a summer language camp is a good start to improving language

The camp was organized for the second time this year in our school.

It ran for two weeks. The daily camp schedule ran from 8 am to 2pm. 14 students  ( 3-4 forms )  participated in the work of the camp. Three  teachers ( one of them – English language teacher) worked with children.

The goal of the camp is to improve  English. We  organized daily fun activities , games designed to encourage interaction among the children.

The children had the chance to relax and practice English with the volunteer.  These included  arts and crafts, sports and games, and learning activities such as drama, music and singing.

 Every day children had the opportunity to practice and improve English in a relaxed and fun environment.

The theme of the project work was ” Animals” ( animal quizzes, rules how to look after animals, videos “ Love your pets ”, “ Monkey”,” Sharks”, “ Elephants”, ” I won’t eat animals ” etc. )

The trip to the  Cherkasy zoo was organized during the camp.

The children had the chance to relax and enjoy themselves.
